Car feels new again (A5 8T)
Ordered this for my A5 8T after the original gave up at 158k. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Spring compressors out and the strut rebuilt on the bench in an afternoon. Result is body roll through roundabouts is properly controlled again.

Car feels new again
My S3 8V needed this doing at 158k miles. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. I fitted both sides together as you should, then had it aligned the same week. Result is sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin.

Crashing over potholes has stopped
Ordered this for my A6 C8 after the original gave up at 103k. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Good value against the dealer price.

Correct damping rate
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2006 A4 B7 before ordering. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone.

Night and day difference
Went on my TT 8J 2.5 TFSI at 152k miles. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone.

Well damped, not harsh
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the RS4 B7. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Good value against the dealer price.

Ride is composed again
My Q8 4M needed this doing at 152k miles. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Result is the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. No complaints at all.
