Beam sat low
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A1 8X. The beam sat noticeably low and took a long time on the adjusters to bring up. Swapping it over took an afternoon working carefully. Disappointing for the price.

Correct fit first time
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2006 A6 C6 before ordering. The mounting tabs are moulded thick enough that they do not flex when bolted down. The bumper had to come off, but the mounting tabs lined up exactly. Result is no condensation at all through a wet winter.

Plugged straight in
My A3 8P needed this doing at 150k miles. The housing seal feels substantial and the breather sits in the factory position. The bumper had to come off, but the mounting tabs lined up exactly. Result is the cut-off is sharp and sits exactly where the old one did.

Clear lens, proper seal
Fitted to my 2021 Q7 4M. The levelling motor transferred across from the old unit without trouble. The housing seal feels substantial and the breather sits in the factory position. Result is it has passed an MOT since with no comment on the beam.

Beam pattern matches the original
Replacement for my 2012 A5 8T 1.4 TFSI. The three bolts went straight into the original captive nuts. The mounting tabs are moulded thick enough that they do not flex when bolted down. Result is the output is far better than the yellowed original it replaced. Would order again without hesitation.

Right part in the end
Fitted to my 2022 Q7 4M. The three bolts went straight into the original captive nuts. The first one to arrive was the opposite side to the one ordered. That said, the indicator and daytime running light behave exactly like the factory part. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.
