Solved my overheating
My A5 8T needed this doing at 82k miles. The core is thicker than the unit it replaced and the fin density is noticeably higher. All the mounting points and hose stubs lined up without any persuasion. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months. Delivery was quick too.

Holds pressure beautifully
Went on my Q5 8R 1.8 TFSI at 162k miles. The end tanks are properly crimped with clean seams all the way round. I bled it through the proper procedure and it has held level ever since. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months. No complaints at all.

Perfect fit, no modification
Fitted to my 2012 A4 B8. All the mounting points and hose stubs lined up without any persuasion. The plastic feels substantial rather than the brittle stuff that cracks at the neck. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months. No complaints at all.

Works well, packaging was thin
Went on my TT 8J 1.8 TFSI at 81k miles. All the mounting points and hose stubs lined up without any persuasion. The core is thicker than the unit it replaced and the fin density is noticeably higher. On balance intake temps dropped noticeably on a long motorway pull. Good part, minor niggles.

Temps back to normal
My A3 8P needed this doing at 53k miles. All the mounting points and hose stubs lined up without any persuasion. The core is thicker than the unit it replaced and the fin density is noticeably higher. Result is no more creeping temperature when towing. No complaints at all.
