Correct damping rate
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q3 8U. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Spring compressors out and the strut rebuilt on the bench in an afternoon. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Will be back for the other side.

Night and day difference
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q7 4M. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Result is sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin. No complaints at all.

Sat lower on one side
Went on my A8 D4 2.5 TFSI at 130k miles. The car sat about 15mm lower on one side, which suggests a spring rate problem. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Disappointing for the price.
