Ride is composed again
Went on my A6 C6 1.8 TFSI at 134k miles. The rod is properly finished with no machining marks and the seal is clean. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. Result is it tracks straight on the motorway instead of wandering. Delivery was quick too.

Well damped, not harsh
Went on my A6 C8 3.0 TFSI V6 at 140k miles. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Good value against the dealer price.

One weeped, the other is fine
Replacement for my 2013 S4 B8 2.0 TFSI. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. One unit was visibly weeping oil down the body within a few weeks. That said, body roll through roundabouts is properly controlled again. Would still buy it again.

Crashing over potholes has stopped
Fitted to my 2009 A4 B8. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. The weight matches the original almost exactly, which the cheap ones never do. Result is it tracks straight on the motorway instead of wandering. No complaints at all.

Good damping, ride height is off
Fitted to my 2009 A4 B8. I fitted both sides together as you should, then had it aligned the same week. The car sat about 15mm lower on one side, which suggests a spring rate problem. That said, the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Would still buy it again.

Night and day difference
