Firmer than standard, took adjusting to
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2017 A1 8X before ordering. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. On balance the clonk over speed bumps that started this job has completely gone. Good part, minor niggles.

Well damped, not harsh
Went on my A8 D4 1.4 TFSI at 83k miles. The garage did the pair and the alignment came back within spec straight away. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. Result is body roll through roundabouts is properly controlled again. Good value against the dealer price.

Ride is composed again
My A5 8T needed this doing at 99k miles. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. The paint and plating look like they will survive a few winters of salt. Result is the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement.

One weeped, the other is fine
Replacement for my 2019 A6 C8 2.0 TFSI. Top mounts and bearings went on at the same time while it was apart. One unit was visibly weeping oil down the body within a few weeks. That said, the car no longer floats over crests and settles in one movement. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

Car feels new again
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A5 8T. I torqued everything at ride height rather than with the suspension hanging. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. Result is sharp expansion joints no longer send a bang through the cabin.

Correct damping rate

Night and day difference
Ordered this for my TT 8J after the original gave up at 123k. I fitted both sides together as you should, then had it aligned the same week. Damping is progressive when you compress it by hand, not dead at the top of the stroke. Result is it tracks straight on the motorway instead of wandering. Exactly what I needed.
