Straight swap

Bought for a 2009 TT 8J. The plastic feels substantial rather than the brittle stuff that cracks at the neck. The transmission cooler lines threaded straight in with no adapters. Result is the gauge sits dead centre now even in traffic on a hot day. Exactly what I needed.

Perfect fit, no modification

Bought for a 2018 A7 4G. The plastic feels substantial rather than the brittle stuff that cracks at the neck. I bled it through the proper procedure and it has held level ever since. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months. Good value against the dealer price.

Solved my overheating

My A8 D4 needed this doing at 169k miles. I bled it through the proper procedure and it has held level ever since. The core is thicker than the unit it replaced and the fin density is noticeably higher. Result is intake temps dropped noticeably on a long motorway pull. Cannot fault it.

Temps back to normal

My Q7 4L needed this doing at 133k miles. I pressure tested it to 1.4 bar before fitting and it held without a drop. The transmission cooler lines threaded straight in with no adapters. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months.

Works well, packaging was thin

Went on my RS4 B7 1.8 TFSI at 52k miles. I flushed the system properly and refilled with the correct G13 before bleeding. I pressure tested it to 1.4 bar before fitting and it held without a drop. On balance no more creeping temperature when towing. Would still buy it again.

Temps back to normal (Q3 8U)

Went on my Q3 8U 2.0 TDI at 68k miles. I flushed the system properly and refilled with the correct G13 before bleeding. I pressure tested it to 1.4 bar before fitting and it held without a drop. Result is the coolant level has not moved in four months. Happy to recommend it.
