Seal did not seat
My A4 B8 needed this doing at 62k miles. The gasket was dry and flat out of the packet and would not seat cleanly. I pre-oiled the seal before fitting and there has not been a drop since. Disappointing for the price.

Exactly what the service needed
Fitted to my 2020 Q5 FY. Dimensions matched the outgoing filter to the millimetre. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. Result is no leaks at all after several hundred miles. Delivery was quick too.

Right filter every time
My A6 C7 needed this doing at 127k miles. The media feels dense and the end caps are properly bonded rather than glued on thin. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. Result is oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has. Good value against the dealer price.

Seal did not seat (A1 8X)
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A1 8X. The gasket was dry and flat out of the packet and would not seat cleanly. It dropped straight into the housing and the cap torqued to spec first go. Expected better given the cost.
