No more limp mode
Went on my A4 B8 2.5 TFSI at 65k miles. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Cannot fault it.

Exactly like the originals
My A5 F5 needed this doing at 134k miles. The part number on the body matches the OE reference exactly. I cleared the fault codes afterwards and they have not come back. Result is no stored codes after a month of daily driving. Exactly what I needed.

Straight fix for a rough idle
Ordered this for my A8 D4 after the original gave up at 69k. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. Result is the rough idle and flashing engine light disappeared immediately. Good value against the dealer price.

Idle is smooth again

Boot split on installation
Bought for a 2008 A3 8P. The boot tore as I seated it, which suggests the rubber compound is not right. I cleared the fault codes afterwards and they have not come back. Disappointing for the price.
