Rattle on start-up gone
Bought for a 2012 A5 8T. Everything in the box matched the parts diagram with nothing missing. A weekend job with the right locking kit and a service manual open next to me. Result is the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year.

Correct kit, no surprises
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2009 A5 8T before ordering. A weekend job with the right locking kit and a service manual open next to me. The tooth profile and belt width are indistinguishable from the part that came off. Result is timing has held perfectly through 12,000 miles since fitting. Would order again without hesitation.

Quiet engine again
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2008 A5 8T before ordering. The tooth profile and belt width are indistinguishable from the part that came off. Torqued the tensioner to spec and rotated it twice by hand before starting. Result is the engine is noticeably quieter at idle than it has been for a year. No complaints at all.
