Genuine quality for less
My A4 B9 needed this doing at 96k miles. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. The pleat count is visibly higher than the supermarket filter I had been using. Result is shifts are smoother now the transmission has clean fluid and a fresh filter. Good value against the dealer price.

Fine filter, seal was dry
Replacement for my 2016 A4 B9 2.5 TFSI. Two minutes behind the glovebox once I had the tabs released. The gasket was dry and flat out of the packet and would not seat cleanly. That said, no leaks at all after several hundred miles. Worth buying, just go in with your eyes open.

No leaks, no fuss
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A4 B7. The rubber seal is supple and sat in its groove without coaxing. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. Result is oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has. Delivery was quick too.

Fine filter, seal was dry (A7 4G)
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2014 A7 4G before ordering. I changed it with the oil at the same service interval. The gasket was dry and flat out of the packet and would not seat cleanly. That said, oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has. Good part, minor niggles.

Right filter, tight in the housing
Ordered this for my A1 8X after the original gave up at 121k. Two minutes behind the glovebox once I had the tabs released. The outer diameter was a couple of millimetres off and it would not sit square in the housing. That said, oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Exactly what the service needed
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the TT 8J. The media feels dense and the end caps are properly bonded rather than glued on thin. Two minutes behind the glovebox once I had the tabs released. Result is throttle response feels crisper than it did on the clogged original.
