No more limp mode
Bought for a 2010 A4 B8. A smear of dielectric grease went on the boot before it was seated. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. Result is the rough idle and flashing engine light disappeared immediately.

Good coil, slow shipping
Fitted to my 2021 A6 C8. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. The spring contact is firm and seated with a definite click. On balance fuel economy went back to normal within a tank. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Cured my P0303
Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2019 Q5 FY before ordering. The boot is proper thick silicone, not the thin rubber the cheap ones use. Coil pack out, new one in, ten minutes with a T30 and the engine cover off. Result is cold starts are smooth instead of shaking the whole car. Cannot fault it.

Misfire cleared instantly

Fixed it, but not for long
Bought for a 2010 A8 D4. I replaced all four at once rather than chase them one at a time. It started misfiring on the same cylinder again after about eight weeks. That said, the rough idle and flashing engine light disappeared immediately. Good part, minor niggles.
