Rattle on start-up gone
Bought for a 2011 S4 B8. The chain has proper hardened links rather than the soft pins on cheap copies. Locking tools on, marks aligned, and it timed up exactly where it should. Result is the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone. Exactly what I needed.

Correct kit, no surprises
Second one of these I have bought, this time for the A4 B9. The date stamp was recent, which matters for rubber that has been sitting on a shelf. I booked it in with a specialist rather than risk an interference engine on the driveway. Result is the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone. Would order again without hesitation.

Good kit, check the contents
Bought for a 2024 Q5 FY. I booked it in with a specialist rather than risk an interference engine on the driveway. One of the tensioner bolts was missing from the kit and held the job up a day. That said, the top-end rattle on cold start has completely gone. Good part, minor niggles.
