Exactly what the service needed

Second one of these I have bought, this time for the Q7 4L. The pleat count is visibly higher than the supermarket filter I had been using. The old one practically fell apart coming out; this went in cleanly. Result is oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has.

Does the job, packaging poor

Cross-referenced the OE number against my 2009 A4 B8 before ordering. The old one practically fell apart coming out; this went in cleanly. Dimensions matched the outgoing filter to the millimetre. On balance no leaks at all after several hundred miles. Fine for the money, with that one caveat.

Right filter, tight in the housing

Replacement for my 2017 TT 8S 3.0 TDI V6. The old one practically fell apart coming out; this went in cleanly. The outer diameter was a couple of millimetres off and it would not sit square in the housing. That said, shifts are smoother now the transmission has clean fluid and a fresh filter. Would still buy it again.

Genuine quality for less

Bought for a 2018 A5 F5. Two minutes behind the glovebox once I had the tabs released. The rubber seal is supple and sat in its groove without coaxing. Result is oil pressure comes up as quickly on a cold start as it always has.
